Day 2 of 7 in Tokyo, Japan (Shibuya - Ginza - Tokyo Skytree - Ikebukuro)

Weather was good when i set out for fab cafe.
I planned to go to Fab Cafe for breakfast after seeing their cute marshmallow latte! I was not disappointed. Food was yummy and the whole place has a nice bright interior with a blend of traditional and modern furnishing.

You can read my post about fab cafe here: Fab Cafe

Saw these very pretty purplish flowers blooming very nicely! Wonder if we have these in Singapore?

Was on my way to catch the train at the Ginza Line when i saw this! The second floor is the best place to snap a picture of the famous shibuya crossing!

Namie is still relevant in tokyo thus her huge billboard to promote her new album is EVERYWHERE.

Ginza is like our Orchard in Singapore. It is also very similar to Ometosando. I think you can choose to visit either one. I visited Omotesando thus i am paying a visit to Ginza this time round. I prefer Ginza though! I feel like Ginza is for the more matured people thus the usual OL/OM were spotted everywhere and also atas housewives walking around. lol Omotesando is for the more younger crowd and nearer to shibuya/shinjuku/harajuku/etc.

Itoya is a huge stationery store in Ginza! Do pay them a visit if you're looking nice modern looking stationery. I love to just wonder around Ginza aimlessly. lol it feels oddly like orchard road.

And also the famous Kagari Ramen!! Will do a more detailed post for this store! Look at the HUGE crowd!! Super long queue ok! The famous stores always have long queues so if you see one like that means the food must be super yummy. You won't go wrong queuing up and definitely will be satisfied. It will be better to build a shelter outside since they are earning so much money as waiting under the hot sun is very bad. haha. Must visit this if you're in Ginza.

Here's my tsukemen ramen! Found out the more famous one is their Chicken broth ramen. Kind of regretted ordering this but was yummy too!!

After my YUMMY lunch, i went to tokyo sky tree. Do note that you need to pay somewhere in the middle to go all the way up. Not sure how to know if the clouds are clear so you can see Fuji-san. :( Basically i failed to see mt fuji the second time as well as fuji is obscured by fogs.

Nice right?! It kind of looks like the command tower at changi airpoirt though. hahaha.

FOGGG , WHY YOU HIDE EVERYTHING AWAY?!?!?!

There is a shopping mall below sky tree but feel like it's not worth visiting though. There's nothing much to see there.

Went to ikebukuro to sunshine city for mega tokyo pokemon centre! The shelves for the normal size super cute charizard tokyo were EMPTY!! Wanted to get that for a friend but have to settle for these pikachu. They are cute too!! I also bought more pokemon keychains myself. Also bought a a cute totodile too! <3

Went to Animate HQ as well. This place is super difficult to find as they shifted from their original place to somewhere further away. Anime fans will like it here as they have merchandise for most of the more relevant popular animes. Snapped this picture of this nice MV. :X

As i mentioned, if there's a long queue means the food must be yummy! Lost count of how long i queued for this, I only know i was very hungry when they serve me my bowl of ramen finally. Will also blog in detail for this store. Mutekiya ramen is probably the most store in Ikebukuro. MUST visit when you're in the area.
