Day 3 28/12/2017 Kyoto - Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, Tenryu-ji Temple, Fire Ramen Kyoto, Nara Deer Park and Saizeriya.

It's day 3 of 7 of my annual Japan trip and i spent my third day in Kyoto and Nara. As usual, we bought bento set as breakfast at the train station. It was not as cold as compared to the previous day. We took the shinkansen to kyoto station and then from there to Saga-Arashiyama station where we walked to the bamboo forest. It is necessary in Japan to walk~ as that's where you can explore places that you won't see if you follow the crowd.

Wah.. the bamboo forest is so nice but why so many tourist. The bamboo forest also.. so small...... walk anywhere also got people take photo. its impossible to take photos without people photobombing at the back. These are the places where you just need to go once. -_- I also paid a hefty sum for a lady younger than us to bring us around the area via rickshaw. it was interesting talking to her. haha and she take better photos than my mother. wtf.

Went to tenryu-ji next. nothing much here. XD the garden would have been nice if it wasn't crowded with tourists. kyoto is seriously flooded with tourists leh. wtf spoil the whole experience.

Went to try the famous fire ramen next!! The guy behind the counter took our phones and began to take photos and videos for us. No pictures are allowed when the oil is being poured. You're required to wear a paper apron, fold your arms behind you and lean back. It was damn frightening when the guy pour the oil leh... the heat is no joke. wtf. go forward abit will be disfigured. He also made us take funny pictures with our mouth open which i shall not post here. The ramen is delicious though. It is made with a fusion of chicken and seafood broth, topped with a mountain of green onions. Do i want to go back to eat the ramen, yes!!

After this, we went back to kyoto station.... chilled at nana cafe for awhile then rushed to Nara. We were there during late noon.. the sky is about to turn dark. thank god for photoshop. LOL You can walk here from Kintetsu-Nara Station. You will see some deers along the way.. but you must walk all the way to the park coz that's where most of the deer population are. You can buy the deer biscuits, feed them, and spam 10000000 pictures. LOL The deers are mostly non-aggressive, but they can be quite greedy. Their fur is so soft though.... and they are seriously damn cute. hahaha. They will bow when they ask for food. :) We dk what to eat so we took the shinkansen back to tokyo and ate at saizeiriya instead.
