REVIEW: Good Seafood Soup in Singapore: Shun Feng Crayfish Delight at Yishun Singapore

Is this a rising trend? It seems like an increasing number of similar seafood soup vendors are appearing everywhere! One such establishment is situated in Khatib, conveniently close to the MRT Station. Intrigued, I decided to give it a try. Despite a relatively short queue of no more than 10 people, the wait was long. This suggests that the meticulous preparation of each bowl contributes to maintaining the soup's high standard.

Opting for the Crystal Crayfish Delight priced at $6, I found it to be a worthwhile indulgence after the wait. Although the soup lacked the richness of the sumo big prawn variant, the neatly halved crayfish made for convenient consumption. The bowl also boasted marinated handmade meatballs, tomatoes, fish slices, and tofu. Diners have the option to accompany their meal with rice or crystal Hor fun; I highly recommend the latter for its delectable texture. I've heard rave reviews about the Mackerel Slices Delight ($7) and intend to try it on my next visit, intrigued by promises of a sweeter taste.
