REVIEW: Good Thai Restaurant in Singapore: Thailily Restaurant at Toa Payoh Singapore

Whenever I dine at a Thai restaurant or eatery, green curry is always a must-order for me. ThaiLily Restaurant, conveniently situated opposite Braddell MRT station, has become my go-to spot for this delectable dish. The green curry here boasts a thick consistency and an irresistibly spicy kick that I absolutely adore. Typically, I opt for the chicken variant, which comes generously packed with various vegetables, enhancing the overall flavor profile.

On separate dining occasions, I've also indulged in their olive fried rice and green curry fried rice. Given its proximity to my usual bus stop, ThaiLily Restaurant has become a convenient stopover on my way home. If the regular green curry is anything to go by, one can only expect excellence from the green curry fried rice! Bursting with spicy goodness, it offers a tantalizing taste experience. The authentic olive fried rice, characterized by the use of black olives as a primary ingredient, imparts a distinctive blackish hue to the dish. Whether it's the olives or the sauce contributing to this color, I can't say for certain, but the result is undeniably delicious. It's worth noting that the presentation of the dishes occasionally brings to mind the iconic silhouette of Mickey Mouse, adding a playful touch to the dining experience.

If you're near Toa Payoh or Braddell, you can go check out this food stall.
