REVIEW: Good Japanese Food in Singapore: Tanuki Raw at Somerset Orchard Central

So back at this Japanese don craze again, I went to try out Tanuki Raw with a friend~ Heard alot of good reviews about this shop so i was quite excited to dine here! There was a queue forming when i was there in the afternoon on a weekend for lunch. I don't think they allow reservations for customers. I have a choice of alfresco dining or indoor but i chose alfresco because that would mean more waiting. :( Their waiting time is definitely shorter than Ninja bowl though. 

As you can see, I chose the Foie Gras Truffle Yakiniku ($21.90)! I also ordered a set which comes with a drink, miso soup and salad. The beef is drizzled with truffle soy sauce and the foie gras is glazed with black garlic brown butter.As expected, the US black Angus short rib and pan seared foie gras was so melt in your mouth GOOD and flavorful from all the seasoning. There is also an onsen egg in the middle which you can mix with the Tanuki's signature rice. You also will notice that the whole dish is sprinkled with truffle. Really recommend people to try this out. :)
