REVIEW: Wheeler's Yard at Lorong Ampas - Is it the most Iconic Blue door ever? (Permanently closed)

Wheeler's Yard is an old warehouse transformed into a bicycle workshop and cafe. It was mother's day and i decided to bring my mum here for Brunch! Yes we walked all the way here from Toa Payoh. This blue warehouse door has been one of the most photographed door on instagram.

Opening Hours: Sunday - Thursday - 10.30am - 10pm

Closed - Monday

Friday - Saturday 10.30am - 11pm

What I like about this place is it is very photogenic everywhere!! This place is decorated with hipster bikes everywhere. It is super spacious too as it occupies the whole warehouse! The seating arrangement is quite well-spread out with a large communal table occupying the center.

Wheelers yard big breakfast($17.90).

This consists of runny scrambled eggs, roasted tomatoes & potatoes, toasts, bacon and pork sausage. This is quite filling for 1 person.

Egg Benedict. ($18.90)

Poached eggs over greens, ham and toasted english muffins, topped with homemade hollandaise sauce served with salad.

Truffle Fries.($14.90)

Not really nice. I'm not sure whether it is really the truffle taste or what. Didn't like it! The portion is super huge as well! I think can share with 4 or more people.

Flat white & cappucino. Didn't like the coffee. Self service here! They gave us a buzzer so we can collect our food later from the counter.

I was also there for dinner some time back. Ordered their prawn aglio olio($20.90). Prawns were succulent and there's a subtle sweetness to this dish due to the tomatoes! Over priced though!
