REVIEW: Double Scoops Artisan Gelato at Ang Mo Kio (Permanently Closed)

Continuing my post about my cafe exploration at Ang Mo Kio, Long overdue, I know. Double Scoops is unfortunately not near to the MRT Station and takes about 12 - 25 mins by Bus. They are known for their affordable gourmet coffee and handsome gelato!

Opening Hours: Sunday - Thursday 12pm - 10pm

Friday - Saturday 12pm - 11pm

It's CNY so there are all these festive decorations. I wish we wont need to count calories but if we don't, we will all grow sideways! LOL 

I ordered Flat white with charcoal waffles with sea salt gula Malaka gelato. The inner texture of the waffle is too moist and not fluffy enough. :/ Don't know why they have pop corn there as well. The staff later explained that the homemade salted pop corn is meant to replace the granola so that customers can have some sweet and savory at the same time. Coffee art could be improved as well.
