REVIEW: Good Ice Cream Cafes in Singapore: Creamier Cafe at Toa Payoh Singapore

Creamier is undoubtedly the most crowded cafe among many in Toa Payoh. I was quite hesitant to visit as it is always so packed full of people. It is located at Toa Payoh and is a walkable distance from Braddell MRT Station. Their menu consists of ice cream, waffles, and beverages(coffee and tea). It is not wise to sit for long and chill over coffee here as there may be people waiting for seats. Try to be there early morning to avoid the crowd and to secure seating. If you're near Toa Payoh or Braddell, you can go check out this food stall.

Address: 128 Toa Payoh Lorong 1 #01-835

Opening Hours: Monday - Closed
Tuesday - Thursday & Sunday - 12pm - 10pm
Friday - Saturday - 12pm - 11pm

Creamier is a rather small shop though! The interior is quite artsy though. The walls are decorated with picture frames and the ceiling with hanging lights. The interior also has a wooden feel because of the choice of wooden cabinets, counters, tables, and chairs.

I ordered this sea salt gula melaka ice cream with waffles, The texture of the waffle is fluffy and had the right fragrant and consistency to it. The waffle itself is lightly sweetened and is good with or without the ice cream. :) Maybe that's why this shop is so popular. The standard here is definitely on par with Sunday Folks.

The sea salt gula melaka ice cream is like the frosting on the cake and completes the overall dining experience. The flavor is not really salty and is well balanced with the gula melaka flavor.
