REVIEW: Cafe & Meal Muji at Paragon

Popular japanese brand MUJI finally sets up their cafe in Singapore!! They already have it in Japan. It's located at Paragon and also prices are super affordable! So it is just right beside their shop. You can view more about the shop here : shop

Address: #04 – 36 to 40 Orchard Paragon, 290 Orchard Road, Singapore 238859
Opening Hours: Monday – Sunday, 10:00 – 21:30

What's so special about their menu is that they have these set menus.

3-Deli set : Set includes 1 hot deli with 2 cold deli, and a choice of white rice or bread. ($12.90)
4-Deli set : Set includes 2 hot deli with 2 cold deli, and a choice of white rice or bread. ($16.90)

Hot deli consists of cooked food while cold deli serves a wide variety of japanese style salads.

I ordered the Spinach Chicken Hamburger with Sakura Chicken & Pasta Salad with Lemon Flavor amd Prawn & Edamame Salad with Spiced Mayo Sauce. The salad is quite fresh as in the vegetables are crunchy and delicious when paired with the sauces. The rice served is the kind of rice that they eat in Japan. Very nice! I wish that they would serve a bigger portion of rice though. This cafe is defnitely one of a kind and is a healthy eating choice.

Oh ya. They give you a pair of MUJI chop sticks with every meal for free. :X

REVIEW: Tiong Bahru Bakery at TANGS Orchard

Tiong Bahru Bakery is like a respite from the busy and noisy orchard road! It boasts 3 outlets in Singapore. One in Eng Hoon Street and the other one in Raffles city shopping centre. It's tucked at a corner of TANGS orchard shopping centre. It's space was not very big but when i was there on 2 nights, the place was not packed with people! Some of the breads there are produced by Gontran Cherrier. They have outlets in Paris and Japan! I was surprised as I had been to Gontran Cherrier in Shibuya, Tokyo. There's free WIFI too.

Address: TANGS Orchard (310 Orchard Rd.), 238864
Opening Hours: Monday - Thursday, Sunday - 8am - 8pm
Friday - Saturday 8am - 10pm

It's a nice place to take a break from all the window shopping or actual shopping with bags and bags of loots. Not sure if it's a good place to study though as never been here in the afternoon. The breads that we ordered were served rather cold. :( Coffee was alright though.
